Summary:

In this position, you will work in fast-paced and dynamic environment to collect and process patient demographic and billing information from patients in a timely and accurate manner and strictly adhere to company policies & procedures.
Primary
Responsibilities:
In this role
You are responsible for entering new patient admission information into computer system in an efficient manner.
At the time of admit(or readmit) you will: Review face sheets for completeness; Enter all patient demographics; Enter complete billing information received including, but not limited to insurance, Medicare Part B, Medicaid and Medicaid pending.
You manage readmission data
You process electronic patient demographic information received through alternate programming daily
You complete and maintain unknown payer reports if applicable
You assist with identification of non-compliant facilities
You manage and maintain productivity and accuracy goals
You diligently follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.
Other duties as assigned; Job duties may vary by location
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 11:00pm-7:30am.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred
Qualifications:
Previous data entry or billing experience
Experience in pharmacy procedures and terminology
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and prioritization skills
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
