GENERAL FUNCTION - Target Brand Entrepreneur
The Target Optical Team Leader ensures the delivery of the store's top 2 results (T2) by delivering the Brand Promise:
Simple, Fun, and In-Style. The OTL must demonstrate entrepreneurial leadership attributes such as initiative, persistence, commitment, persuasion, problem solving, and models an 'eye for fashion' attitude. The OTL will ensure a positive and productive retail sales environment that delivers a premier fashionable Guest experience, build clientele, and serve as a business growth partner to the Target Optical Doctor and Target Host.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
o Builds Plans to deliver profitable store sales measured by our Top 3 Results.
o Ensure the delivery of a simple, fun, and in-style fashion experience through Try It On.
o Daily, builds brand awareness by attracting new guests from the host to optical.
o Develop a professional business partnership with the Target Optical doctor and Target Host through regular co-planning.
o Proactively recruit, hire, train, develop, motivate and retain brand right Optical Team Members (OTM)
o Provide Team Members feedback to hold accountable for their goals and job responsibilities
o Models the Target Optical Personal Style Dress Code.
o Ability to motivate, influence and inspire Teams in creating a personalized Fashion experience for each Guest on every visit by uncovering their personal style and matching to products available in the store.
o Ensure all operating policies and procedures are followed at the highest level to include merchandising and store presentation, timely and accurate implementation of approved marketing programs and promotions, the accurate completion of all sales transactions, and utilization of all sales strategies and resources.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
