Store Manager Position Summary :
The Key Holder is the acting member of the management team when the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager are not present at the store.
The Key Holder is proficient in all store operations, which includes opening and closing the store, administering returns , setting sales goals, and dividing tasks amongst Sales Associates.
Additionally, the Key Holder is expected to provide each customer with quality customer service and provide customers with in-depth information on product features and benefits, and knowing alternative items to sell depending on customer's needs and wants.
Other responsibilities include:
meeting and exceeding personal and store sales goals, cleaning up the register stations, merchandising products, cash register operations (POS) and loss prevention in adherence to all Cycle Gear Policies.
Job Functions :
Ensure that each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing a professional retail environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer within 90 seconds of entering the store.
Maintain and achieve measureable goals including:
daily sales goals, items per transaction, average dollar sale, customer capture rates and email capture rates.
Supervise employees to complete tasks and achieve sales goals in the absence of store management.
Open and close the store following proper procedures documented in the opening and closing checklist.
Responsible for assisting in the preparation of daily deposits; maintains and balances daily cashier charge activity.
Maintain awareness of all product knowledge information, merchandise promotions, and advertisements set forth by the Store Support Center.
Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash in our POS registers.
Accurately collect required customer information, including full street address and email address.
Adhere to all Cycle Gears' policies, procedures and practices that are set forth in the company policy manual.

Assist in the maintenance of store presentation according to Cycle Gear standards, including store housekeeping, merchandising, and retail standards.
Any other duties as assigned by the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.
Required Qualifications :
High School diploma or GED required.
Previous retail, customer service, or sales experience; 2
years preferred Previous experience with meeting or exceeding sales objectives in a retail environment is required.
Must have an upbeat, positive attitude and be passionate about what you do.
Must be able to read and interpret all Store Communications via Gear Net, MAP, and product/department manuals.
A strong work ethic and a get-it-done attitude.
Must have the ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation.
Must be able to establish engaging rapport with customers.
Must be a solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills; strong communications skills.
Must be able to multi-task and have an attention to detail.
Must have the ability to retain large amounts of ever-changing product information.
Must be comfortable receiving instructions from Store Manager; must have good follow-through.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holiday, evening and weekend shifts.
Desired Qualifications :
Familiarity reading and comprehending merchandising standards and plan-o-grams, schematics or POGs.
Previous experience with POS systems.
Mechanical knowledge, direct experience or the ability to learn/use tire mounting & balancing machines.
Familiarity with motorcycles, automotive, motorsports.
Work Environment/Conditions :
Fast-paced, Indoor retail setting; must work on feet for long periods of time.
Overtime may be required during busy periods Required to work occasional on/off site promotional events, including evenings and weekends, such as Bike Night, etc.

Required to lift up to 40 to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Must be able to climb ladders, reach out and overhead, bend, stoop, squat, twist, and grasp on a regular basis.
