Job Description : Requirements: Must have at least 1 year experience in custodial work or similar occupations. Must be available to start immediately on start date and also for last minute schedule changes. Experience in custodial work or equivalence preferred. Ability to work flexible hours. Ability to work cooperatively with others. Must have knowledge of using custodial equipment and cleaning chemicals. Must have knowledge of basic mechanical and technical applications as related to specific job functions. Ability to perform heavy work; Exerting up to 100 pounds of force
occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently. Employer does drug screen, background and reference checks.
Job
Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize buildings and facilities in accordance to SBSC standard written custodial procedures. Maintain and use custodial equipment in accordance with manufacturers' equipment instructions. Use custodial chemicals and cleaning supplies in accordance with custodial procedures and manufacturers' instructions. Report and correct safety hazards, custodial, maintenance and vandalism; or other needs for maintenance. Police (pick up paper and other small debris) and maintain the grounds. Participate in training instructions and activities. Perform other custodial / janitorial duties as may be assigned by the designated representative.
