RECREATION DEPARTMENT Under the general direction of the Camp Director, the purpose of the position is to supervise, guide and facilitate programs for the campers, and effectively run assigned camp activities.
Employees are responsible for the safety of all of the campers under their care, as well as the up keep of all program equipment.
Employee must work with independence and initiative within the established policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as dictated by the nature of the program.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must be at least 16 years of age and be able to provide documentation of current enrollment in High School, College, or a Trade School; or possess a High School Diploma or GED.
The selected candidate will be required to complete an Affidavit of Good Moral Character; an Authorization for Criminal History Check; to include a level 2 National Criminal History Background Screen.
(including Department of Children and Families clearance).
Preferred
Qualifications:
Six (6) to eleven (11) months experience within a similar community or recreational environment, College graduate or currently enrolled in school.
