Summary:
The Business Administrator I focuses on the key financial tasks from both the HR and Finance department.
The BA1 has an eye for detail, has a love of all things spreadsheets, and isn't scared by the words audit or reconciliation.

The BA1 manages the entry-level financial tasks between Finance and HR.
This position will report directly to the HR Director with a dotted line report to the Finance Manager but will also work collaboratively with other department heads to ensure administrative business objectives are met.
Compensation:
This position will start at $45,000/year with a bump to $48,000/year at the successful completion of the 90 Day Introductory Period.
Job Duties:
Finance Distribute monthly statements to be delivered by courier, mail, or email Process auto-pay payments by either:
Processing auto-pay payments Collecting credit card payment authorizations for those customers paying by credit card but are not on auto-pay Work towards getting as many customers on auto-pay as possible by presenting the benefits of auto-pay to our existing customers Make outgoing collection calls using a customer service tone with the intent to collect on past-due invoices.
Make outgoing collection calls to collect payment from those customers who prefer to pay by check or ACH Process incoming check payments Provide the management team with daily collection reports for all payments processed that day Capture and set up billing preferences of all newly onboarded customers (i.
e.
, setting up auto-pay or determining how they like to receive their invoices and make payments) Collect mail, sort, and scan/deliver it to the appropriate folder/department Act as a contract administrator for all leases, insurance policies, and other organizational contracts to ensure they are centrally located, accessible, audited and tracked as needed based on the terms of the document.
Human Resources PayrollRun payroll bi-weekly Manage PTO payouts upon termination Update pay increases or changes as communicated by HR 401K Deductions and annual compliance Scrub ordering and payroll deductions Review receipts for reimbursement to ensure alignment with the company travel policy Manage 90-day benefit enrollment administration for all new employees through Employee Navigator Workers' Compensation reporting, renewal, and auditing as requested by the Finance Manager Pull reports as requested by the Finance Manager and HR Director Audit open enrollment deductions annually and periodically to ensure proper deductions are being maintained.
Skills and Abilities Required Working knowledge of G Suite Advanced knowledge of Excel and/or Google Sheets Data Entry Payroll Administration (Specifically with Bamboo HR) Working knowledge of Quickbooks or other similar accounting software Working knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM programs Working knowledge of Trello or other comparable Project Management Tool Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledgeable of accepted business practices and principles Ability to read and interpret accounting reports Ability to collaborate with others Problem-solving skills Critical thinking skills Time management skills Organizational skills Strong attention to detail Operational Management experience Ability to work with a variety of personalities for the collective benefit of the organization Education & Certifications Degree in Business Administration or High School Diploma/GED with Comparable Experience Job Type:
